Lara Estrada
Tuesday 7:00a-8:00a Vinyasa Flow

Lara had always been curious about Yoga and eventually took her first class as part of an Eastern Philosophy course during her undergraduate studies at UC Berkeley. She continued to explore hatha flow and vinyasa classes as a method of connecting with her body and mind for fitness and spiritual well-being. With previous experience in athletics and dance, Lara particularly enjoyed the lyrical nature and technical aspects of vinyasa.
Shortly after completing her 200-hour teacher training through YogaWorks in Costa Mesa, Lara spent several months doing volunteer work and backpacking abroad. Upon returning from her travels, Lara decided to settle in Los Angeles and is always eager to share the amazing benefits of Yoga to all who come to practice.
Lara’s teaching style incorporates vinyasa flow with a focus on alignment and consciousness of breath. She believes in the transformative power of yoga and emphasizes a philosophy of compassion, knowledge and acceptance of the Self.
“The secret of health for both mind and body is not to mourn for the past, worry about the future, or anticipate troubles, but to live in the present moment wisely and earnestly.” ~Siddharta Gautama
